Who are Tweeddale Racing?

Tweeddale Racing is home to Trainer and Jockey Ross Wilson and his partner Jess Robinson. Located on a small yard just outside of Peebles at Cardrona and believed to be the first racing yard in the Peebles area. Ross has had a long career racing, starting pony racing as a child, then gaining his amateur licence and in more recent years focusing on point to pointing.

In January 2024, Tweeddale Racing was established and became home to the Tweeddale Racing Club and welcomed home their first winner that year at local track, Overton Point to Point. Since then the team have welcomed two new promising horses to the racing club as well as welcoming the first generation of Tweeddale Bloodstock with a further two more foals due in 2025.

The racing club was established to provide an affordable and hands on experience of racehorse ownership, but also to provide young jockeys currently pony racing with the opportunity to experience racehorse ownership.
