Inviction
More commonly known around the yard as Victor, Inviction is an 8 year old gelding by Sholokhov. He has quickly become a firm favourite with his loving personality and can do attitude. While with Ross, Inviction has ran on 18 occasions winning 2 of these and placing on 5 others. Invictions preferred ground is good. When not racing Inviction enjoys a combination of common riding and dressage with Jess.
Jack Sharp
More commonly known on the yard as Jack, Jack Sharp is a 9 year old gelding by Scorpion. He has ran on the track on six occasions; winning once at Uttoxeter and placing another four times. Ross is confident that he should go on to win more races at point to points. His preferred ground is good to soft and soft. While not racing Jack Sharp enjoys common riding and enjoying a quieter life with Jess competing in dressage.
Cup Final
More commonly known on the yard as Geoffrey, Cup Final olds a special place in the hearts of everyone. Cup Final and Ross won the Grimthrope Gold Cup together in 2021 and he is also Ross’ biggest winner. Now at the age of 16 he lives a much quieter life enjoying common riding and RoR as well as acting as a nanny to the foals at Tweeddale Bloodstock
Welfare
The horses which are part of Tweeddale Racing have quickly become part of the family. Each one has their own personality and needs, Ross takes the time to really ensure he understands all the horses which allows him to train them in the most suitable environment and way.
Outside of training the pointers have access to large stables with big beds during winter months and smaller beds during summer, ad-lib haylage, access to clean water and are fed a hard feed suitable for their needs. In addition to this they see a farrier on a 6 weekly basis and are registered with a local vet as well as a large equine hospital who is highly regarded within the racing industry .
